  • 2009 Annual Meeting



    Join us on November 14th for Audubon Minnesota’s 2009 Annual Meeting. The meeting will include a summary of last year's conservation projects, new programs being planned, and a sneak preview of the 2010 state and federal legislative agenda.

    Speakers include Senator Al Franken; Meteorologist Paul Douglas; Dr. Luiz Cruz, University of Minnesota Raptor Center; and Darby Nelson, Commissioner, Lessard Sams Outdoor Heritage Council.

    • To attend the meeting, register online by November 9th.
    • Audubon members - help prioritize public policy issues for 2010 - vote online by November 10th.




  • Golden Eagle 42 Release



    "Golden Eagle 42" has begun his journey back to his Mississippi River wintering area. After spending the summer above the Arctic Circle he started south on October 11. Tracking updates are available about every 3 days. Follow his journey here.





  • Chimney Swift Conservation Project



    The First Annual Audubon Minnesota Chimney Swift Sit was a great success with participants checking on chimneys from Grand Marais to Winona to Hutchinson and throughout the Twin Cities area. Various structures provided swift roosting sites -- see the Sit Summary.
